£ 175.00 |
 |
London. For the Author by Baldwin, Cradock and Joy. 1821. pp. 80. Small 8vo. Original boards, front hinge cracked but firm. Book label of J O Edwards. In his 'To The Public' the author says 'I have never seen any thing of this kind attempted, except by Lord Byron. whose beautiful Melodies on Scriptural subjects appeared a few years ago. It may be deemed more than hazardous in me to attempt a similar kind of writing...' - It may! (my comment).
