22nd Jan. 1931. Single sheet, written on both sides. 6.5" x10" headed 15, Vernon Court, Finchley Road, NW 2. The letter is addressed to Mrs Glass and is in reply to an invitation to go ski-ing in Switzerland. Amy says that she has left her 'aeroplane in Germany & come by train because the weather was absolutely hopeless...' and that she will collect it on her return from Switzerland. She goes on to say that she 'felt such an utter fool in Moscow when I put on the skis for the first time & promptly fell down, nor could I keep on my feet - or skies -..' Mrs Glass was the mother of Sheila and Mabel Glass who also became aviators. Price includes VAT
